Music can be seen as the cornerstone of social development and community.
Humans need social contact, and music provides multiple ways to strengthen social skills and contacts, especially when performing in a concert or simply being part of the audience. The joy of sharing music with friends and family is almost unsurpassable!
Piano competitions are beneficial to both the children’s musical education and their overall development. The healthy competitiveness fostered by piano competitions goes beyond musicianship and teaches valuable life lessons, improves motivation, and promotes creativity.
The deadline for registrations is 15th of October
To register please email newpianostars@hotmail.com
We encourage our pupils to sit these exams and it is important to progress gradually through the Grades (These exams range from Grade 1 all the way to Grade 8). Our piano teachers will be able to advise when/ if a pupil should start working towards a particular Grade.
ABRSM Grades 6, 7 or 8 provide extra UCAS points, which can help towards entry to your preferred University.
Pianopalooza is a fun event which gives piano students the opportunity to perform and adjudicate other participants! It allows everyone involved to have fun in a comfortable setting while benefiting from the healthy competitiveness fostered by piano competitions. Join us for an event that goes beyond musicianship and promotes creativity within our community. The learning environment created by piano competitions is truly valuable to the development of a student’s musicianship and teaches lessons that cannot be found through regular practice.
Our concerts are open for everyone! It is so wonderful to hear our young pianists perform and it really is a pleasure to hear everyone play- at any stage in their learning!
